"But knowledge puffs up while love builds up. Those who think they know something do not yet know as they ought to know." (1 Corinthians 8)
How can I avoid becoming puffed up with pride? By loving others enough to give up my own rights for their good. By deferring to others. By being careful that I do not put my own freedom to do something ahead of another person's convictions. To do so not only hurts them but is also a sin against Christ.
